BIKEPAD TECHNOLOGIES
1. FABRICS:
The new 2022 range of Bikepad paddings presents a new fabric platform. Recycled materials, certified Oekotex® and GRS, with excellent mechanical characteristics, softness and fast drying.
2. COVER FOAMS:
We use a new D35 density foam, with excellent mechanical features, elastic, load-bearing and with good air permeability, for the cover foams of our paddings. This allows for proper support, comfort and quick drying of the fabric.
3. CORE FOAMS:
The core of our paddings is made with foams of variable density. Medium, high and very high densities are available to provide all the necessary combinations to ensure proper support and comfort in all cycling disciplines. Some models are available with perforated foams, to increase the air flow and speed up the drying of the pad. Thanks to the Skyve technology, the edges of the main inserts are gradually shaped, so as to ensure a perfect coupling with our covers and eliminate any possible point of hardness or possible friction.
4. GEL INSERTS:
Some of our models are also available with gel inserts. We position the gel, with large inserts strategically placed in the ischiatic area, to offer extra protection on long distances. This technology is also excellent for Gravel and Off-Road products, where the natural position in the saddle creates higher pressure points in the ischiatic area. The gel provides extra protection and a significant reduction of micro vibrations induced by the ground and the bike frame. Our gel is certified and has a wide and uniform perforation to ensure air passage and thus work best with the foams of the insert and cover.
